A Silver Creek man has been arrested in connection with alleged exposure incidents last week. Shortly before 9:00am Friday June 14, 2024, the Nance County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a white male was acting suspiciously and had entered the Dollar General in Genoa naked from the waist down. A short time later the Sheriff’s Office received a report from Pump and Pantry in Genoa, that the same suspect had come into the store, with his genitals exposed and had driven off after not paying for $19 in gas. Multiple witnesses at both locations stated that his genitals were in plain view.
The suspect was identified as Jason M. Hancock of Silver Creek and arrested for two counts of indecent exposure and one count of theft by unlawful taking less than $500.
