GRAND ISLAND, NE — Shooters from all over the country are gathered this weekend at the
Heartland Public Shooting Park to compete in the Zombies in the Heartland 3-Gun Match.
Hosted by Hornady®, the match takes place Friday through Sunday, May 31 through June 2, at
6788 W. Husker Highway, Alda, just outside Grand Island.

The Zombies in the Heartland 3-Gun Match provides a boon to the local economy with shooters
from far and wide coming to experience the region’s top shooting venue.
Shooters are finding new and reactive targets developed specifically for this year’s match, with
most targets breaking, falling over or moving. Participants are required to compete with a
pistol, rifle and shotgun, or they can compete with a pistol-caliber carbine and shotgun in the
PCC Division.

Zombies in the Heartland is just one of many recreational and competitive activities taking
place at the park each year. The Heartland Public Shooting Park features world-class shotgun
ranges, Olympic bunker trap, handgun and rifle ranges out to 600 yards, archery ranges and
action shooting bays.

Owned by the City of Grand Island, the park is managed by Hornady.
