Cozad senior Noah Shoemaker and the rest of the Haymakers hope to get over the hump this season and advance on to the Class C1- playoffs. Cozad has been very close the last couple of years but came up just short last season going 4-5 with several close defeats. Shoemaker is set for his third season as Cozad’s starting quarterback and he spoke with KRVN’s Jayson Jorgensen.
Last year he passed for more than 1,200 yards and accounted for 16 touchdowns. He also led Cozad in basketball averaging 14ppg as the Haymakers went 22-5 and advanced to a District Final.
