The Seward County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle injury accident on Monday, November 27th just before 4 pm on 238th road, just north of the I-80 exit 382 interchange.
According to a Seward County Sheriff’s Office press release, preliminary investigation revealed a 2014 Toyota Sienna was traveling westbound on the I-80 exit 382 off-ramp. The Toyota failed to yield for oncoming traffic and collided with a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado traveling southbound on 238th Road.
The passenger of the Toyota sustained fatal injuries and was deceased at the scene. The driver of the Toyota was transported to Bryan West Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Chevy Silverado was treated and released on scene.
The accident is being investigated by the Seward County Sheriff’s Office and the Nebraska State Patrol. Milford Fire & Rescue and StarCare Medical Transport assisted at the scene.
Identification of the deceased will be released at a later date.
