The Scottsbluff girls soccer team continued their hot stretch on Tuesday as they beat Lexington 5-1 at the Landers Complex to win the B-8 Sub-District Tournament.
Senior Ella Foote, who recently signed to play volleyball at Nebraska Wesleyan, continued her season long scoring onslaught, notching a pair of goals to give her 28 on the season which is a new single season school record (the old record of 26 was held by her older sister, Emma).
Scottsbluff also got goals from Bella Ramirez and Mariah Russell along with a Lexington own-goal.
Lexington’s lone goal came from Kimberly Garcia-Murillo in the second half and with the loss Lexington ends their season with a record of 6-9.
Scottsbluff will wait for the rest of the sub-districts to wrap before finding out their opponent for a road game in a district final this weekend.
