Omaha-Lexington’s Ian Salazar-Molina’s big week at the NSAA State Track and Field Championships continued on Thursday as he claimed his second gold of the meet as he won the Class B 1,600 meter run with a time of 4.26.77. On Wednesday, Salazar-Molina broke the school record in the 3,200 meter run with a time of 9.36.81. Lexington’s school record in that event had been set by Tom Housel in 1967. Salazar- Molina also ran a leg on Lexington’s 4×800 meter relay team that placed 6th.
