Lincoln-Amherst head coach coach Eric Rippen has been named the Nebraska coaches association boys basketball coach of the year. This past season, the McCook native guided Amherst to a 26-2 record and the Class C2 state title after the Broncos were the state runner up a year ago. It was the school’s first state title in boys basketball.
