A Ravenna man has been arrested after being accused of possessing child pornography.

Joshua Fish, 36, is charged in Buffalo County Court with five counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

Each count is a Class IIA felony which carries a maximum of 20 years in prison.

An arrest affidavit says on September 6, 2024, a Kearney Police Officer met with an investigator from the Grand Island Police Department regarding the arrest of Fish, who was taken into custody on August 1, 2024 on a warrant for multiple charges of Enticement by Electronic Communication Device.

Fish had been arrested in Kearney and several of his electronic devices were taken into evidence and sent over to the GIPD investigator.

The affidavit says on August 22, the investigator sent a copy of their report to Kearney Police, which noted that several items of child porn were found on Fish’s computer.

The Kearney Police officer then received a search warrant on the same computer, finding more files of child porn.

Court records say Fish was arraigned today, where his bond was set at 10% of $50,000.

His next court date in Buffalo County court is scheduled for October 23, 2024 at 3:30 P.M.

Fish is also charged in Hall County court with seven count of Use of an Electronic Communication Device to Commit Sexual Assault and four counts of Enticement by Electronic Communication Device.

His next hearing in that case is set for September 26, 2024 at 11:00 A.M.
