Phelps Memorial Health Center is hosting Positively Pink on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Holdrege Sun Theater and Events Venue. This women’s health event will focus on education across various health topics and celebrate cancer survivors.
The evening begins with a reception featuring appetizers and opportunities to engage with health professionals at different health stations covering topics like nutrition, diabetes education, breast cancer awareness, pelvic floor therapy, lymphedema, cardiovascular health, sleep apnea, and aesthetics. Medical providers will also be available for discussions on other women’s health issues.
At 7:00 PM, attendees will be seated in the theater for presentations by featured speakers: Stacey VanBoening, APRN (Breast Cancer Prevention and Awareness), Katie Thelen, DO (Women’s Health and Aesthetics), Sadie Johnson, PA-C (Heart Health), and Cheryl Klausen, APRN (Heart Health).
