KANSAS CITY, MO- One person is dead, according to Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves, and 10 to 15 more were injured after a shooting took place near Union Station, more specifically by the parking garage.
Graves said in a news conference Wednesday afternoon that two people have been taken into custody.
The shooting took place at approximately 2 p.m. after players had been loaded onto buses and were headed to Arrowhead Stadium.
According to Kanas City Mayor Quinton Lucas, players, coaches, and staff are all accounted for and safe.
Police set up child reunification stations inside of Union Station.
Kansas City Police will be sharing updated information at a 5 pm news conference at Police Headquarters
