One person is dead after a two vehicle crash near Henderson over the weekend.
On October 12, 2024, York County Sheriff’s deputies and troopers with the
Nebraska State Patrol responded to a report of a crash at the intersection of Road
F and Road 6 in rural Henderson.
The sheriff’s office says one of the drivers involved, Leroy Friesen, 88
died at the scene.
Authorities say the collision is still under investigation as a reconstruction is being
completed by the state patrol.
