The NSAA girls state golf tournaments got underway yesterday. North Platte is hosting Class C, at the end of the first day Minden has the team lead with a 346. That is six shots better than Wayne. Holdrege is setting 6th with a 389. The Whippets are being led by Kara Suchsland and Kaylnn Jorgensen who each shot 77’s. In Class B, Elkhorn North has the led after shooting a 349. In Class A, Omaha Marian has the lead with a 325. Kearney is sixth with a 353. Olivia James led Kearney on day one, she is sitting tied for sixth after firing a 79. All three tournaments will wrap up today
