BROKEN BOW – Downtown Broken Bow was taken over by classic cars Sunday morning as the Nebraska Rod and Custom Association’s (NRCA) 31st annual Tour Nebraska made a stop in town.

Hundreds of classic, antique and custom cars were lined up six wide across the streets around the city square for the public to enjoy.

The line of cars stretched for several miles as they made their way up Highway 2 from Hastings to Broken Bow in the morning. After about 90 minutes in Broken Bow, they then traveled east along Highway 92 through Loup City and St. Paul before stopping for lunch in Central City.

The NRCA says its goal is to protect the rights of special interest vehicle owners who enjoy driving them on the streets and highways of Nebraska. The annual tour is a goodwill event to showcase the vehicles and meet others who enjoy vintage cars.
