The College World Series got underway Friday at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha. In the first game of the day, North Carolina defeated Virginia 3-2 on a walk-off hit in the Bottom of the 9th inning. In the second game, Tennessee rallied from an 11-8 deficit in the Bottom of the 9th to win 12-11 over Florida State. It’s the first time in College World Series History that the first two games have ended on walk offs. Saturday’s games feature NC State and Kentucky squaring off at 1:00 p.m. and Florida and Texas A&M playing at 6:00 p.m.
