Miller tells the Rural Radio Network that when she found out she had won, she was speechless. Her husband was buying a donut and asked, “do you have enough money to pay for my donut?” She says the clerks at the store were very excited. Miller says she’s still trying to get used to the idea that she won a truck…”it’s kind of surreal, but it’s exciting.” Miller says the truck is going to get used…and she’s going to enjoy it!
The truck prize is valued at $81,500, which includes $976 for costs associated with ownership and state and federal withholding paid by the Nebraska Lottery of $4,075 and $19,560, respectively.
Three more similar trucks will be available to win in 2024, according to a Nebraska State Lottery media release.
One F-150 truck remains in the Nebraska Lottery’s 2023 Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game. The game has closed, and holders of winning tickets have until September 18, 2024, to claim prizes.
