This summer one of Nebraska’s all time greats Monte Kiffin passed away at the age of 84. He left behind a fantastic legacy as a person, coach and player. Fellow former Husker and Lexington native Jim Murphy Jr, who was a nephew to Kiffin spoke with the Rural Radio Network’s Jayson Jorgensen about his uncle.
There will be a Graveside Service held on Sunday, August 4th, at 11:00 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Lexington. Following that service, family and friends will be gathering from Noon to 3:00 pm at Kirk’s Nebraskaland Restaurant,
