Valley-For a second straight day, the Minden Juniors came just short at the Class B baseball tournament as they lost 6-5 to Lincoln Christian on Sunday. Lincoln Christian got out to a fast start scoring three runs in the first inning.
They added two more in the 5th and one run in the sixth. Minden plated two in the third and scored three in the top of the 7th. Cael Smith had two hits, while Jose Ramirez drove in two. Mason Bolin went four innings giving up two hits, five runs, just two were earned and he struck out 4. Minden was hurt by three errors in the game as their season ends at 17-7 as Minden was making its first trip to state since 2014.
