BROKEN BOW – James Markham and Tammy Kleeb unofficially won the Republican primaries for the Custer County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday.
Kleeb, the incumbent in District 2, defeated Corey Clay by a margin of 149 to 41.
District 4 saw a four way race with no incumbent. Markham, who has been a longtime member of the Merna Village Board, pulled in 134 votes compared to 113 for second place finisher Ray Hunt. Jan Dobesh received 75 votes with 55 for Mo Hunsberger.
No Democratic candidates filed to run for either position.
