Kearney-Preseason work is underway for the UNK volleyball team. Veteran coach Rick Squiers and the Lopers officially started practice on Monday. He feels good about the mix of players he has to work with as camp gets underway.
UNK went 29-6 last year and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Regional tournament. The Lopers return several key veterans including, Peyton Neff, Abby Rose, Lauren Taubenheim, Trista Marx, Emilee Lane, Asha Regier, Addy Mock and Mia Berg. The Lopers will host Metro State in a scrimmage this Friday night at 7pm. They will host Colorado School of Mines on Saturday morning at 10:30am, and Metro State at 12pm. All of those scrimmages are welcome to the public.
