Lexington Tennis Finishes Season at State

LINCOLN – The Lexington girls tennis team finished off their year at State Tennis in Lincoln yesterday, with both singles players losing in the first match, with both doubles teams winning match one and dropping their second match.

Class B #1 singles – Arushi Birthi (GICC) over Jarline Martinez (Lexington) 8-3

Class B #2 singles – Sierra Bond (Crete) over Brooklyn Lul (Lexington) 8-3

Class B #1 doubles – 1st match: Ella Young and Abrianna Reynosa (Lexington) over Sarah Van Ostrand and Reese Looper (Lincoln Christian) 9-8 (7-5) 2nd match: Cara Ansbach and Lexi Benson (Hastings) over Ella Young and Abrianna Reynosa (Lexington) 6-1, 6-1

Class B #2 doubles – 1st match: Kayleigh Cetak and Kennedy Cetak (Lexington) over Katelyn Wageman and Addison Foltz (Bennington) 8-6, 2nd match: Ruby Lamski and Jada Freeland (Elkhorn) over Kayleigh Cetak and Kennedy Cetak (Lexington) 6-4, 6-4.
