LEXINGTON – The Lexington Minutemaid softball team is hosting their home invite on Saturday, with eight teams coming to the event.
Alliance, Bennington, Chadron, Gothenburg, Highway 6, Lexington, Scottsbluff, and Southern Valley/Alma will all take part. Each team is guaranteed to play three games. Normal run rules will be in effect, with the NFHS 90 minute time limit also being utilized for the games. The championship game is the only game that will not have a time limit. First games will start at 9 AM and have Lexington taking on Gothenburg, Scottsbluff battling Highway 6, Bennington taking on Alliance, and Southern Valley/Alma will play Chadron. All games will be played at Optimist Fields in Lexington.
