Lexington-Lexington scored three goals in a ten minute span in the second half to pull away from Scottsbluff and won the B-8 Subdistrict Final 4-0 on Tuesday. The Minutemen led just 1-0, before Naelson Garcia connected for his 3rd goal of the year in the 60th minute. Seven minutes later Isai Ramirez scored off a deflection to the put the Minutemen up 3-0.
In the 69th minute with a strong wind to his back freshman Adan Lima scored from 35 yards out for the final score of the night. The match was scoreless before Alex Perez scored in the 35th minute. The Minutemen are now 12-6 on the year and will host a District Final on Saturday afternoon. Scottsbluff is now 7-6 on the season and also hopes to advance to the District Final this weekend.
