Lexington power lifters claim national title

A trip to Baton Rogue, Louisiana proved to be a good one for the Lexington high school power lifting squad. Eighteen team members competed at the USA power lifting high school national championships this weekend. The Lexington boys team & coed team were crowned national champions and the girls team placed 5th. This event drew over 850 competitors from across the country who competed at the varsity level. Head coach Amber Burson talks with KRVN’s Jayson Jorgensen and says it was another great trip for the Minutemen and Minutemaids.
