Lexington picks up first win since 2021

Alliance-Lexington used a big second quarter to pick up its first win since 2021 as they downed Alliance 34-18 on Friday night. Trailing 6-0 going into the second, Lexington went to the half up 21-6. In the third quarter, Alliance fought back with two scores to make it a 21-18 game. Lexington however pulled away with two scores to win the game in the 4th 34-18. The Minutemen rushed for a season high 312 yards on the night. Lexington’s last win also happened at Alliance on October 15th of 2021. This was the first win for head coach Jake Harvey. The Minutemen are now 1-5 on the season.
