Lexington Police Department arrested a 39-year-old Lexington man following a domestic assault investigation at a Lexington residence. It was reported around 7:00pm Monday.
Information gathered by officers in a report indicates they observed a woman with bruises. She told officers that she couldn’t breathe after the suspect allegedly placed his hands around her neck.
Mack Nash was arraigned in Dawson County Court Tuesday morning on charges of Strangulation and Third Degree Domestic Assault(4th offense). The complaint indicates Nash has previous convictions on November 19, 2017; August 17, 2017 and on August 21, 2017; all in Douglas County.
Nash’s bond is set at 10% of $100,000 and his next hearing in Dawson County Court was scheduled for September 26, 2024 at 11:00am.
