A 40-year-old Lexington man has been arrested on a Dawson County Warrant for First Degree Sexual Assault of a Child. Estabon Ramon was arraigned in Dawson County Court Wednesday morning. His bond was set at 10% of $1 Million. A condition of the bond is to have no contact with the victim and subject to arrest if violated.
A Dawson County Sheriff’s Office investigation was initiated earlier in September. The alleged assaults occurred in a Lexington residence and while she was under the age of 12 from between January 2017 and December 2022.
First Degree Sexual Assault of a Child is a Class IB Felony punishable by a minimum of 20 years to lifetime imprisonment. Ramon’s next hearing is set for October 16, 2024 at 11:00am.
