Lincoln, Neb. — NIRMA (Nebraska Intergovernmental Risk Management Association) and the League Association of Risk Management (LARM) hosted a Law Enforcement Liability Seminar series at Scottsbluff, Ogallala, Grand Island, and Norfolk last week, March 11-14. The seminar featured nationally known instructor Stephen Campbell from the Legal Liability Risk Management Institute (LLRMI).
Campbell covered a wide range of topics, including search warrant preparation and service, vehicle pursuits, civil and criminal liability, workplace harassment and discrimination, and use of force, including de-escalation and duty to intervene. Over 80 law enforcement officers attended the one-day training.
