A 33-year-old Johnson Lake man is being held in the Dawson County Jail on three counts of First Degree Sexual Assault of a Child.
Ismael Venegas-Villezcas was arraigned in Dawson County Court Friday morning after being taken into custody on a Dawson County arrest warrant the previous evening. He is also charged with Strangulation and Child Abuse. All are felonies. Information supporting the charges have been sealed by the Court at the request of the prosecutor.
Bond for Venegas-Villezcas was set at $1 Million. His next hearing was set for 9:00am on November 4, 2024 in Dawson County Court. The case is being investigated by the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office.
