The filing deadline for incumbent candidates of political subdivisions in Nebraska is this Thursday February 15th. New filers have a deadline of March 1st.
Among filers in Dawson County this past week is Jason Lawless for Lexington Airport Authority. Jared Jacob and Dora Vivas join Jeremy Roberts as Lexington City Council candidates.
For Gothenburg School Board, Patrick Moore has filed and joins candidates Kelly Keiser-Terrell, Kyle Fornoff and Becky Jobman.
There are now six candidates for Overton School Board. Logan Kizer just registered. He joins candidates Brooke Luther, Joel Meier, Jacob Olmstead, Dylan Smith and Heather Brennan.
No candidates had filed for Cozad City Council as of Tuesday. There is one council member position open in each of the two wards.

Cynthia Burman and Jennifer Anderson have filed for S-E-M School Board. There are three openings this election cycle.
For County Commissioner, Joe Richeson has filed in District 1, P.J.Jacobson for District 4 and Rod Reynolds for District 5.
The deadlines for Villages and Weed Board is July 15th for incumbents and August 1st for non-incumbents.
Two have filed for Village of Eddyville. They are Sara Nichols and Gary Rhode.
