Huskers picked 8th in Big Ten media poll

Nebraska is picked in the middle of the pack in the Big Ten Football preseason media poll. The poll is conducted by clevelanddot.com. The Huskers in Matt Rhule’s second year at the helm are picked 8th in the new 18 team version of the Big Ten that stretches from coast to coast.

Ohio State received 21 first place vote and is the preseason favorite to win the league, while Oregon is picked second. Penn State is picked third while defending national champion Michigan is picked 4th. Big Ten Football media days begin later on this week in Indianapolis. Nebraska will participate on Wednesday. Head Coach Matt Rhule, S Isaac Gifford, DL Ty Robinson, and C Ben Scott will all speak. The Huskers will take the Podium at 11:30 a.m.
