Governor Pillen Seeks Applicants for Director of Nebraska State Historical Society

Lincoln, Neb. — Governor Jim Pillen is accepting applications for director of the Nebraska State Historical Society. This year, the Legislature approved, and the Governor signed LB1169, making the Historical Society a code agency. As with other code agencies, the director is appointed by the Governor and subject to legislative approval.

Applications may be submitted through the Governor’s website at: https://governor.nebraska.gov/board-comm-req. Submissions may also be sent in writing to: Office of the Governor, P.O. Box 94848, Lincoln, NE 68509-4848.

The deadline to apply is close of business, Wednesday, July 3, 2024.
