Geneva native off to Paris Olympics, breaks U.S. Trial record

EUGENE, OR – Maggie Malone Hardin is heading to her third straight Olympics. She qualified to Team U.S.A team after throw of 64.58 meters (211 feet, 10 inches) to set a U.S. Olympic Track & Field Team Trials record in the women’s javelin.

Malone Hardin also competed in the 2016 Olympics in Rio De Janiero, Brazil where she placed 25th, and the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan and came in 10th place.

She graduated from Fillmore Central in 2012, and competed on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Texas A&M University track and field teams. Currently, Malone Hardin is an assistant track and field coach for the Huskers.
