MILLER, NE – The Miller Volunteer Fire Department will host their annual Fired Up BBQ this Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 4pm – 7pm at the Miller Community Hall.
This event is open to the public, and attendees are welcome to contribute through a free-will donation. Miller Fire Chief Philip Schroeder says it is a good event for everyone to come together.
In addition to the BBQ, the Miller VFD will hold two raffles: one for a Ruger American .22 mag with American Flag Stock and another for a lady’s basket.
Raffle tickets are priced at 1 for $5 or 5 tickets for $20. All proceeds from the BBQ and raffles will be used for protective equipment and for any fire department training that comes up during the year.
This annual BBQ has long been a cornerstone event in the Miller community.
