A mechanic working on a combine in rural Valley County field was injured in an accident.
Valley County Sheriff David Scheideler says it was reported around 2:20pm on Thursday October 10, 2024 in a rural area east of Comstock.
According to preliminary information, a combine tire fell on the man. Sheriff Scheideler says he was conscious and breathing when Comstock Rescue arrived on scene.
He was transported to a landing area for transfer by medical helicopter. His condition was not available.
