On Friday, February 16, 2024, around 10:30 a.m., Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol responded to an accident south of the Alda interchange involving a black Chevy Silverado and a semi-tractor and trailer. During the investigation, the driver of the Silverado was identified as Justin Hadenfeldt. Hadenfeldt has been transported to a hospital in Grand Island for treatment. Justin Hadenfeldt will be arrested on a felony Buffalo County Warrant for First Degree Assault, a Class II Felony, Strangulation or Suffocation Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, a Class IIA Felony and Burglary, a Class IIA Felony.
