Cozad-Holdrege Farm Bureau’s big season continued on Tuesday night as they beat the Cozad Reds 10-1 in five innings. After a scoreless first inning, Holdrege scored twice in the 2nd, three times in the 3rd and they put up five runs in the fourth. Holdrege had seven hits on the night. Beau Jensen led the charge going 2-2 with an Rbi. Trey Weaver also drove in two runs. On the mound, Rafe Hill looked good as he pitched four innings and gave up just two hits as he struck out six. With the victory Holdrege claims the Mid-Nebraska League West title with a 13-1 mark and they are 18-3 overall. Cozad drops to 4-9 on the summer.
