LEXINGTON, NE – The Dawson County Historical Society Museum is hosting an event on Sunday, October 24 at 2:00pm called “A Tombstone Talk.”
Crystal Werger, Director of the Dawson County Museum what will be heard at the event.
Werger says the idea of A Tombstone Talk came about after the DCHS Museum hosted a speaker on the origin of cemeteries, headstones and grave yards. Both Werger and Board of Directors have collected the tales from cemeteries throughout Dawson County, including stories from the small, rural cemeteries.
DCHS encourages community members to come and share in the stories and enjoy a cup of coffee and a snack.
