COZAD, NE — Cozad Chamber of Commerce’s annual Summer event on July 10, 2021 will look a bit different this year.
With the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Cozad Chamber decided to switch things up by bringing in food trucks for the Bands & Brews event. Previous years, it was a BBQ competition and food was served in a buffet style.
Food Trucks will also allow for food to be available the entire night.
The Cozad Chamber also announced the lineup for bands: local talents Heather Wellman, DJ Bridwell, and the night will end with Resurrection: A Journey Tribute.
Bands & Brews will have a long schedule of events starting at 7:30am with a Rock, Roll & Run 1 Mile, 5K & 10K at the Cozad Wellness Center, Bingo Bonanza from 1pm – 10pm at the Grand Generation Center, and in the Veteran’s Memorial Park: craft and vendors, Triple B Car Show, kids olympics and live music.
Festivities downtown Cozad start at 10am with in-store specials at local businesses until 5pm. Gates open at 6pm for Bands & Brews.
Tickets for the evening are $15 for adults, 12 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at the Cozad Chamber of Commerce office, 209 W 8th, or online.
