Cozad Rotary Club Gathering Items for the Next Time Capsule

COZAD, NE – The Cozad Rotary Club recently revealed a 50-year-old time capsule that was sealed beneath the front of Waypoint Bank in downtown Cozad.

Now, the Rotary is collecting items to go back in the time capsule that will be opened in 2073. Club President and Waypoint Bank Nebraska Market President Tim Sladek says they have a good collection so far.

Sladek says items like letters, advertisements, restaurant menus, a phone book, and newspapers are some of the suggested items… but pictures are highly encouraged.

Deadline to submit items to Waypoint Bank is Thursday, Septebmer 28th.

The date and time to bury the next time capsule is to be determined.
