Elle Ravenscroft of Nenzel, Nebraska initially went to Chadron State College to play basketball. These days, the athlete channels her competitive edge on the rodeo team.
The senior college rodeo athlete competes in breakaway roping and barrel racing, and has big goals for the 2024-2025 season. With the College National Finals Rodeo on her mind, she is putting in the work to get there.
“I have a great breakaway horse going right now and my barrel horse has always been consistent,” said Ravenscroft. “As long as we keep making the runs and short gos that we have been making, everything should fall into place.”
The Chadron State College Rodeo Team will resume rodeo action October 10-13 in Laramie, Wyoming at the Laramie County Community College Rodeo.
