Lexington-Two student athletes from Lexington senior high school signed letters of intent on Wednesday. Fernando Casillas signed with Iowa Western Community College for soccer while Kayleigh Cetak signed to play tennis at Hastings college. Casillas last year scored 12 goals and added 12 assists helping Lexington go 16-4 as the Minutemen advanced to the Class B state semifinals at the state tournament. Casillas has a 3.47 GPA and his older brother Junior also played at Iowa Western.
Kayleigh Cetak has been a member of the Minutemaids tennis program throughout her high school career. Last year she was on Lexington’s number two doubles team that competed at state. She has a 3.61 GPA
