Sumner-It was a special day at SEM high school yesterday as Mustang stars Mikah O’Neill and Ryan Arbuthnot signed their letters of intent. O’Neill who helped lead the Mustangs to the school’s first state title in volleyball has signed to play at Hastings College next year. She talks about what kind of legacy she wants to leave behind.
Arbuthnot was an all stater for the Mustangs football team helping to lead them to the school’s first state title in football. He says he and O’Neill who are cousins always wanted to be the best they could be.
Arbuthnot will continue his playing career by walking on at UNK in the fall.
