Arapahoe Football improves to 4-0

SOUTHERN VALLEY – The Arapahoe football team continues to dominate, as they rolled on the road over Southern Valley, taking down the Eagles 67-6.

Arapahoe got going early, scoring 33 points in the first quarter. Grayson Koller scored the first two touchdowns of the game, with rushing touchdowns of 20 and 65-yards. William Cacy then got on the board with a two-yard rushing touchdown. Koller would get on the board with another touchdown, this time through the air on a 20-yard receiving touchdown on the pass from Trenton Roskop. Cacy added another first half touchdown from 23-yards out. Clayton North scored a 44-yard rushing touchdown as the first half came to a close and led 47-0 at halftime.

Southern Valley put together a nice drive in the third quarter through running clock, and would stop the shutout in the final seconds of the third quarter thanks to a seven-yard receiving touchdown from Sam Bantam on the pass from Tyler Grove. Arapahoe scored three times in the fourth quarter with two rushing touchdowns from North and a five-yard rushing touchdown from backup quarterback Briggs Hill, and the Warriors cruised to the 67-6 win.

Arapahoe had 433 total yards of offense, 402 of those on the ground. Cacy had seven carries for 133 yards with three touchdowns with Koller adding five carries for 139 yards and two rushing touchdowns with the one receiving touchdown. Southern Valley was led by Bantam who had 20 carries for 68 yards.

Arapahoe improves to 4-0 and will take on Dundy County Stratton next week. Southern Valley falls to 0-4 and will be on the road at Alma next week, a game that can be heard on 880 KRVN.
