Omaha- Nebraska softball could be getting a major boost. Nebraska native Jordy Bahl, one of the top pitchers in college softball who helped lead Oklahoma to national championships during each of her two seasons in Norman, announced Monday that she’s leaving the Sooners to “return home.” The native of Papillion is a sophomore and two-time All-American, Bahl is expected to transfer to Nebraska, although nothing official has been released yet. She originally committed to the Cornhuskers as a high school freshman before reopening her recruitment and signing with Oklahoma. Bahl is 44-2 in her career with 15 shutouts and five saves. She has a career ERA of 1.00. She has two years of eligibility remaining.
