Alcohol Compliance Checks held in Butler and Seward Counties

Lincoln, Neb. — Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) recently conducted alcohol compliance checks in Butler and Seward Counties.

On Thursday, October 17th, investigators conducted alcohol compliance checks in Butler and Seward counties. This project was supported through Region V Health Systems.

In total, 15 businesses were checked. No businesses sold alcohol to a minor for a compliance rate of 100%. The businesses included convenience stores, grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores and bars.

Businesses that sell alcohol to minors are referred to the Nebraska Liquor Commission. Clerks who sell alcohol to minors are cited for procuring alcohol for a minor.
