OMAHA – Junior Adi Hunt from Southern Valley had a big weekend at the State Track Championships in Omaha, finishing with two gold and two silver medals.
In the girls 200 meter, Hunt finished in first place with a time of 25.27 which is a school record at Southern Valley. In the long jump, she also finished in first with a jump of 17-11.50. Hunt was the runner up in the 100 meter, and also set a meet and state record in the prelims with a 12.30. She ran a 12.41 in the finals. She was also the runner up in the 400 meter with a 57.37 time.
Southern Valley as a team finished as the Class D runner up with 46 points, 6 points back of first place.
