A memorial service for Paul R. Larison will be held on December 16, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 112 11th Ave., Holdrege, Nebraska 68949. An inurnment will be held at the Woodruff Cemetery, Woodruff, Kansas.
Paul Raymond Larison, 69 years of age, of Holdrege, Nebraska, died on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at the Kearney Regional Medical Center in Kearney, Nebraska. Paul was born on October 21, 1954, the eldest of two sons, born to Raymond E. and Myrna J. (Delimont) Larison. He was raised in a house his father built on the Larison family farm in rural Orleans, Nebraska.
He received his education from Orleans Public Schools and graduated from Orleans High School with the class of 1972. Following his education, Paul attended classes at Joseph’s College of Beauty in Hastings, Nebraska.
He enjoyed visiting with friends, attending garage sales, and keeping in touch with Mormon missionaries. Paul was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he was active.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left to celebrate his life, include: his brother, Steve Larison of Holdrege; many, many friends; and other relatives.
There will be no visitation as the family is honoring Paul’s wish for cremation.
A memorial has been established in Paul’s honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
