Henry loved his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. He cared about his family and friends. If he could he would give you the shirt off his back to help. If you needed an opinion or a question answered he was more than willing to help.wn as a hard worker and played as hard as he worked. He helped his dad when he was growing up on the farm, later he worked for the Lexington Sale Barn, Darr Hay Mill, and worked for Liehs Drilling before becoming Downey Drilling.

When it came to relaxing he loved the outdoors. You could find him either hunting, fishing or kicking back relaxing in the outdoors with his family and friends. He loved watching wildlife. He loved going on drives through the country and around the lake with his kids. He loved doing activities like making derby cars for Boy Scouts, helping the girls with Girl Scout activities. He loved hearing about the different outdoor adventures his grandkids and great grandkids are involved. His most favorite of fish stories was his great grandson getting a Master Angler award for catching a 30.25” fish.

He loved to travel. He went to different locations with his job; he’s been to Missouri, Kansas, Colorado and Arizona.  He lived in Arizona for a while. He came back to Nebraska so he can be closer to his kids.

He loved going out for coffee to meet up with his friends or going out with us kids. He enjoyed going out for a meal with us kids. He would call everyone on the holidays and birthdays wishing us well. He loved visiting over the phone also.
