Angela English, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend passed away on June 7, 2023 at Hilltop Estates in Gothenburg, Nebraska.
She was married to Clifford English Sr. on October 28th, 2000. Together they had two sons, Clifford Jr. and Matthew and a daughter Stevanie. Angela was also the proud grandmother of Lincoln English.

Born on December 27th, 1978 in Gothenburg, Nebraska, to Donna J. (Callahan) Anderson and George R. Shackleton, Angela grew up in her hometown of Gothenburg where she graduated in 1997.

Angela made a career as a diligent worker in both the restaurant and retail business. She worked hard and always put forward her best effort.

Angela adored spending time with her family the most, but enjoyed other hobbies such as reading books. She always had a new book ready to jump into. She would often go to races with her family as well for entertainment.

Angela is survived by her loving husband Clifford English Sr, father, George R. Shackleton of Cozad NE; mother, Donna J.(Buddy) Anderson of Gothenburg NE; three sisters Ann (George) Howell of Cozad, NE, Jennifer (Derreck) Furse of Gothenburg, NE; Cheri (Eddie) Mayers of Gothenburg,NE; grandson, Lincoln English; and grandmother, Mary (Shackleton) Polk.

She is preceded in death by grandfathers George (Bob) Shackleton and Bert Callahan, grandmother Carrie Callahan, and grandson Logan English.

Although Angela is no longer with us, her loving spirit will live on with those that were lucky enough to know her. She will be remembered for the way she lit up a room with her presence, and the love she had for her family and friends.

Celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 17th, 2023 at American Lutheran Church, 1512 Ave G, Gothenburg Nebraska.

Private burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery, Gothenburg, Nebraska.

Memorials may be given to the Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, 620 10th St, Gothenburg, NE 69138 to help with funeral expense.
