Winter weather in Nebraska is definitely unpredictable. It might be balmy one day and really, really, really cold the next. It’s like they say…just wait a little bit and it will change. We can’t change it so we might as well have some fun with it.
Play the River Facebook Forecast.
You get to be the weatherman and maybe win a $50 dollar prize. All you have to do is guess the correct temperature in Lexington at 3:35pm CST on Thursdays! But, there is a catch. You have to post your forecast to the River Facebook page each Wednesday. Just find the Facebook Forecast post on the River Facebook page and add what YOU think the temperature will be at 3:35pm in Lexington on Thursday. The contest opens each week for guessing at 6am CST and closes at 11:59pm CST each Wednesday.
The Rules:
You must be 18 to enter. Winners will be selected from all submissions on the Facebook Forecast Post on the River Facebook page each Wednesday throughout the contest between 6am and 11:5PM CST. If there are multiple correct guesses, winners will be drawn from those names. If there are no correct guesses, winners will be selected from the next closest temperature without going over. The temperature will be determined by the National Weather Service weather station observations at Jim Kelly Field in Lexington. For a complete list of rules.
